Up for sale is a 17\" tall (including the base) and 10\" wide marble or alabaster carved statue. This is my first go around with finding anything like this so I will be as transparent as possible in my description. I knew it was something special as soon as I saw it and upon further review on the back of her neck, \"A. Cipriani\" is carved. I would assume anyone looking at this would already have an idea of who Adolfo Cipriani is, so I won\'t bore you with his history. I\'ve researched this extensively and everything points to this being authentic. The craftsmanship is exsquisite and just mind blowing that this type of thing could be produced over 100 years ago. This is sold as is. I have every reason to believe that it is authentic, but without a letter from a major sale house, I can\'t say garanteed. To the absolute best of my knowledge, this is the real deal.
Condition: The flower on her chest has a missing petal. I was told that it can be fixed, but I\'m not sure about that. There is signs of wear on her back. It must have been against a wall or door. The brownish red mark on the back I believe is some kind of paint, but I was too nervous to try any kind of cleaner to take it off. I looked up and down and couldn\'t see anything else that was broken, although the lace detail around her face is very detailed. I\'m not sure if there are any chips. It seems to be all intact. Please view pictures. The bust itself is removable from the base and will be shipped that way. It weighs 25lbs and will need to go Fedex for shipping. Please note that Fedex does not deliver to PO boxes so a physical address will have to be given in Paypal.
