This is one of the most beautifully illustrated haggadot ever printed. It contains about a dozen colored illustrations in art noveau style typical of the 1920s. There were several editions of this haggada in a few languages (English, Hungarian, & German). The only major difference between the illustrations is that the centerfold of this one contains the Rabbi’s from the family of the Hatam Sofer. (The other haggada has the Rabbi\'s from the past 1000 years including Rambam, Rashi etc seated around the Seder table.). Both haggadot are rare and wonderfully illustrated. I’ve seen these haggadot go for $300 at judaica sales.

Hagadah was printed in Vienna in 1928 by the Joseph Schlesinger publishing firm. The introduction notes that this is the SECOND edition, but I am in doubt if this refers to the Haggada in general or the second ENGLISH edition.

Contains 64 pages NOT including the prints.

Measurements: 9 x 12 inches.

Condition: Very minor staining on a few pages. Spine a bit torn.
