Covers and spinearevery good. Inside is verybright, very little or no foxing,no inscriptions. Theoriginal dustjacket is a bit rubbed/chipped, small loss ofpaper on the title, price clipped.This is the very scarce First Edition, First English Issue, with the reverse of the title-page correct wording as follows, "This book was first published on October 8th 1908, since when it has been reprinted in a variety of editions, illustrated and unillustrated, 96 times Ninety-seventh edition 1950". This was Rackham's final book and this was the 1st time it was published in England. A very rare 1st edition 1st U.K. Issue, particularly with its original dust-wrapper.As recorded in Riall page 199.
