Crafted exclusively for Thomas Goode & Co (most likely as a special order), this fine English Porcelain cabinet plate has been decorated in the style and with all of the quality that one would expect to find on a piece of Victorian Copeland Spode Cabinet Wares! The finely hand gilt border shows excellent detail and was nicely burnished! The central hand painted flower bouquet shows very good detail and has been 100% free hand painted, WITHOUT the aid of transfer our printed outline, it is initialed \"JF\" for Joseph Fenn, the last great Victorian painter of the Copeland Works! Joseph Fenn was able to paint nearly any subject and died while at his painting bench in the Copeland Works. Marked on the reverse with the old Copeland Spode China England mark, the Thomas Goode & Co London stamp, and the pattern number C1373.
