AUSTRALIAN QSA MEDAL BUSHVELDT CARBINEERS SOUTH AFRICA MEDAL:
$3264.51

This is an amazing QSA medal of an Australian Bushveldt Carbineer (BVC). Sadly missing suspender and clasps, but very few were issues to BVC and even fewer to Australians. BVC are famous for the Breaker Morant Trial.
This medal is pantographed: 80 TPR: G. C. YOUNG BUSHVELDT CARBINEERS.
George Crawford Young was born in Newcastle NSW and enlisted in 2.4.1901. He later became SGT in 3MTS AIF in WWI (11971).
A very interesting and important medal due to unit. Please refer to photos and ask questions if you require any clarification.

One of only 60 inscribed to the BVC, and as such a very rare item (J. Lundstrom, Milwaukee Public Museum - a BVC/Pietersburg Light Horse subject matter expert).
Of these 60, many have been lost to the last 110 years, and most of those that are left are tightly held by family, collectors and museums.
Direct Deposit is preferred for Australian buyers, and Paypal is mandatory for overseas buyers.
