Lurex is one of the best materials for strength and it always looks new. It is stain resistant. There is wear to the handles but they are soft and the gold has worn off from normal use. The brass hardware does show use. There are some scratches to the brass. This is a unique bag and in good condition. The inside has a purple satin lining. There are 2 spots shown in the last picture.
