Selling 4 lbs of1/2 classified gold-bearing material from Cache Creek placer. This is rich,mineralized dirt taken from underneath an old abandoned sluice, probablyoperated in the late 1890s. You may find some nice chunks, the area has been known for producing larger size nuggets.

Cache Creek is on the border of Lake County/Chaffee County, and empties intothe Arkansas River. Lake County has recorded over 360,000 ounces of placergold, 90,000 oz coming directly from Cache Creek. This location I found hasntbeen touched in probably 100 years.

I have explored all over Colorado for hidden gold locations that I believe still have large nuggets. Cache Creek is located on the Lake County/Chaffee County Line. For those of you who do not know much about Colorado\'s history, Lake County holds the county record for most placer gold found in the state of Colorado, second to Summit County. Summit county is where Tom\'s Baby was discovered and the Weaver Brothers found their legendary \"Gold Run\", and is located about 60 miles northeast to Cache Creek. Both counties are located on the same Colorado Mineral Belt.

This is the second time I have sold this material. I sold about 12 bags last week. This time I dug about 4 feet deeper. I only managed to takeabout 80 pounds on this trip.
