Lincoln hand writes, \'\'Let this man take the oath of Dec. 8, 1863 & be discharged. / A. Lincoln / March 17, 1865\'\'. Clipped endorsement measures approximately 2.75\'\' x 1.5\'\'. Period writing and piece of mounting tape to verso. Overall very good condition. Bold writing and signature by Lincoln.
