Abraham Lincoln Bronze "plaque" On Stand - Victor D. Brenner For Sale
This listing is for a bronze "plaque" with a base featuring the profile of Abraham Lincoln. This is the famous design of Victor D. Brenner, as designed in 1909 for the U.S. Cent.
I believe this is a reproduction from the 1940's or 1950's, but it could be more recent. It's not signed as are the originals I've seen. At the base of Lincoln's profile, it simply gives his name and his birth and death years of 1809-1865. There are no manufacturer markings at all anywhere on the piece.
Still, it's a beautiful item and would make a wonderful addition to the collection of anyone who loves Lincoln. It measures 10" high by 6 3/4" wide. The base is 2 inches in depth. Weighs about 3 pounds.
