24 June 2017... I took this signature to Gettysburg Pa. I showed this to the proprietors of \"The Horse Soldier\", \"The Union Drummer\" and Cal Packard,...they all three agreed in its authenticity!... NOTE

Abraham (1809-1865). President of the United States (1861-1865). Clipped signature of Lincoln as President, 4.5 x 1.5 in. (sight), signed A. Lincoln, July 10, 1861. Presentedwith photographof Lincoln originally taken by Anthony Berger at Mathew Brady\'s Washington Gallery, February 9, 1864, printed by Frederick Hill Meserveand affixed to period CDVmount. The signature and photograph are beautifully mounted in a period frame with period glass, 12.5 x 14.5 in. Lincoln\'s signature is extremely fine, brilliant, and dark. An excellent example.

Condition:

A horizontal fold between the signature and date, not touching the signature and only the top of the \"J\" in July. Lincoln\'s signature is extremely fine, brilliant, and dark. An excellent example.I believe the date was added by the person that obtained the signature. It is a little lighter and somewhat \"shaky\" as if written by an elderly person.
