This is a beautiful certificate printed on card stock with color photos of Lincoln\'s office plus black and white photos of the Tinsley building (the site of Lincoln\'s office) and the plaque that\'s outside the building, marking the spot.
The certificate measures 4\" x 5 1/4\". Attached to the certificate is a genuine piece of wood removed during a 1968 renovation. The wood measures about 1/2\" x 3/4\".
Comes with a photocopy of the original notarized document swearing under oath that this wood came from the Tinsley Building, site of the law offices of Abraham Lincoln. According to this document, the wood was removed from the building during a renovation in 1968. The same wood was part of the original structure, built in 1840.
This is a terrific, authentic Lincoln collectible at a very reasonable price.
