This Bolga Bag is accent witha leather handle, with intricate designs. Also has an adjustable strap. This bagmay be used for shopping, as a baby bag, going to the beach, or to work.

Bolgatanga is a major city in Northern Ghana. Bolga bags have been madehere and the surrounding villages for centuries. It was originally made as asieve to be used in the production of a local drink called pito and as a marketbag. Outside influences have changed the uses and designs of the Bolgabasket/bag.

Bolgabags are made of natural tropical grass locally known as elephant grass or thetechnical name of “veta vera”.
