Precious, 7 inch tall, antique bisque head, (solid dome) early French doll withbeautifully molded and painted features including lovely blue eyes with finely painted eyelashes, sweetly closed mouth, nicely blushes cheeks andlovely, molded curly blond hair completely covering her ears. Her *original, \"mignonette\" five-piece composition body has nicely molded and painted black stockings and gold heeled shoes with single straps andshe wears all her original detailed clothing including a charming sheer organza dress with lots of lace details over a matching chemise and pantalets (some missing trim, etc.due to age). She is marked only withincised numbers: 312 4/0 on the back of her neck and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, no hairlines or repairs, no repaint and no odors as she is from a smoke free home. (the stringing for her head needs tightening and onearm has an old repair at the wrist). She is *shown and described in \"Les poupées de la SFBJ\" by Samy Odin (Musée de la Poupée à Paris) on page 98, \"notes: this is an extremely rare version of head 301 with molded hair\". (see last photo of book page) Her antique dolly friend and antique automobile are not included and listed separately.
