As late summer turns into autumn, we look forward to colorful falling leaves,hot apple cider by the fire, cozy sweaters, carving a Jack o\' Lantern or two,and … Hallowe\'en! We are proud to present a WICKEDLY wonderful, authentic vintage, small-sized pressed paper pulp Jacko\' Lantern with his original paper insert. This jolly fellow is in good,all-original condition!Please meet Jasper! Many refer to the material from which he was made as paperor papier mache. He is a happy-looking little guy and is in great shades of Hallowe\'enorange with a green air-brushed top rim. He retains his original paper insert,creating his adorable and endearing expression. The waxed paper insert is incolors of warm beige, old red and navy blue. Jasper measures about 4” tall. He does have some attractive paint wear commensurate withhis age of roughly 70-something years. He is missing his wire handle and has alittle bit of darkening and a tiny bit of loss to the top of the paper insert anda little bit of loss to one side of the paper insert – which cannot be seenfrom the outside. There are a couple of very tiny holes to the insert but theydo not detract and they are very difficult to see. There is a miniscule hole atthe back and there is wear to one of the original holes placed there to accommodatehis long-lost wire bale handle. There is NO candle wax in his interior. He doeshave a little wear to the top rim. Jasper has great, warm patina to his paint and Ziz loves this! It speaksto the many All Hallows\' Eves this little sweetheart has seen. Little Jasper, who hails from the 1940s and was made in the USA, hasoutstanding presence, and we think he would be the ideal acquisition for anycollection of vintage and antique Hallowe\'en memorabilia.
