Description This lovely doll is a bit of a mystery as she is marked only 1902 but definitely has that French feel. I thought she was an SFBJ, but she is only marked with a 1902 01/2. Maybe she is Heubach German doll produced for the French market to look like French doll?
She has beautiful brown sleep glass eyes and hand painted lashes and original antique human hair hand knotted wig. She has a fantastic antique summer cotton dress in pale blue with printed red flowers and she is holding tray with flowers from her garden, also she has antique full slip and boomers. She has replacement socks and shoes.
Marked: 1902 0 ½
Condition: excellent for her age with no chips or cracks to her head, her eyes sleep well and in its original setting has small spot of discoloration to her bisque done during production, her wood and composition body with an earlier strait wrists has most all original finish with only few scratches and minor touchups
Measures: 19” tall
