This is a darling, vintage bed or boudoir doll commonly called an \"egghead\". She measures approximately 27\" in length. She is an all cloth doll with a painted face. She has side glancing blue eyes and blonde floss type hair. Her hair is pulled into 2 braided buns on the side of her head with a braid going across the back. This is original to her. These dolls were typically sold without clothes, however, someone has made her this adorable dress and hat that fit her perfectly. The dress is a very light mint green . There is a purple velvet sash at the waist with a big bow, feather and silver button. Her hat is adorable and is made of purple velvet with a satin type ribbon. There is a satin bow on the back of the hat. Flowers and lace surround the face. She has no shoes but does have original stockings that are sewn to her as well as some cute little socks on her feet. There is also a muslin type slip underneath her dress. The dress appears to be hand sewn, so I am not sure when it was made. Completing her outfit is a small porcelain brooch with a purple flower on it. She does have a slight watermark near her mouth, around her neck area, as well as a very small brown mark above one eye. These look much worse in the pictures than they do in real life. I point them out just to be accurate. She is a darling doll that has been a joy to own! You will love her!
