If you think this means we simply provide a place where children can come to die, you couldn’t be further from the truth. We offer comfort, care and support to life-limited children, young people and their families in the hospice, in the community and in their home so they can make the most of the time they have left together.
We allow parents and carers to relax and recharge their batteries. And we make sure the needs of brothers and sisters are never forgotten.
what do we mean by life-limited?We use the term life-limited to describe a child not expected to live beyond 18 years of age.
We have supported over 650 children since we opened in 1999.
We are there for families in Wales for however long they need us – at home, in hospital, at school and in our hospice.
Importantly, we’re also a family’s safe haven when their child is close to the end of life, providing expert comfort and support in their darkest hours and beyond.
Every year Tŷ Hafan has to raise £4 million to provide its free services to families in Wales.

United KingdomHere at the tŷ hafan store you’ll find our collection of donated and second-hand items - from weird and wonderful collectables to valuable and designer pieces. Whether you love vintage pieces or you’re an avid comic book collector, our store will have something for you. All proceeds from your shopping will help to provide unique care and support to life-limited children, young people and their families throughout Wales.
How can I pay?We accept payment via PayPal and ask that payments be made within 7 days on sale items.
When will my order be dispatched?We aim to dispatch orders within 2 working days of payment being received. Working days are classed as Monday-Friday excluding public holidays. If your order is needed for a certain date, for example if it is a birthday gift, please get in contact with the online team via messages or email [email removed by ] and we will try our very best to dispatch your order as quickly as possible (we will confirm whether this is possible via message or email).
When will my order arrive?We send orders via Royal Mail and Hermes, please check the item description for further details on which carrier has been selected. Royal Mail orders arrive within 2-3 working days and Hermes within 2 working days. Hermes deliveries are tracked as standard but should you require tracking with Royal Mail please contact us for costs.

All items have been donated to Tŷ Hafan, the Hospice for Children in Wales, and all money raised from Emporium sales go to supporting children with life limited conditions in Wales.

£57 could pay for two hours of physiotherapy to ease the pain children and young people experience as a result of their conditions.

£850 could pay for all the medical supplies used at the hospice for a month.
