Al Atkins is a great vocalist... and this CD proves that he could of help up Judas Priest had he kept going with them.
Must say that some of Al Atkin\'s solo titles are actually comparative to some of Judas Priest\'s early lp\'s - they really are. \'Victim Of Changes\' is better than what I had personally expected. Tracks here that\'ll draw you in are \"Mind Conception\", \"Holy Is The Man\", the rocking \"Never Satisfied\" (co-written by K. K. Downing), \"Metanoia\" (penned by jazz musician Paul May), the ass-kicking \"Black Sheep Of The Family\" (my theme song) and the title cut \"Victim Of Changes\". Recommended for fans of Iron Maiden, Accept, Motorhead, Dio and Metal Church.
Band formed by Alan Atkins, former vocalist with Judas Priest from 1969 to 1973. When Atkins returned to England in 1989 he wanted to record some albums, as well as to show his version of the Judas Priest classic \"Victim of Changes\", which he co-wrote before leaving Priest in 1973 (the song was re-written and extended by Rob Halford in 1973-1974). Atkins approached a local band called A.N.D. which he\'d met in 1988 while touring Germany and they recorded 3 albums before the 1995 split-up. In 1998 the band reformed with ex-Judas Priest (1980-1988) drummer Dave Holland and released another album in 1998.
