Alfred G. Kintz was one of the best 20th century designers of holloware and flatware, most of it sterling silver. He spent his entire career at the International Silver Company, headquarted in Meriden, Connecticut. Some of his most admired work was in the Art Deco style, designed in the late 1920\'s.

The \"Tropical Sunrise\" design line was one of three sophisticated sterling holloware lines aimed at elite buyers. Since they were released at the end of the prosperous Twenties they are hard to find today - many of these design lines are found in museums.

This antique sterling silver sandwich tray is in overall excellent pre-owned condition with some slight surface scratching with scuffs and one miniscule dent on the front inner rim that is consistent with normal use.
