This is a gorgeous Alice in Wonderland bone china porcelain figurine by Royal Doulton of England. Alice is reading the poem \"The Walrus and The Carpenter\" from the book Through The Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll, 1872. Alice\'s eyes are beautifully detailed, very pensive, very absorbed in thought. This piece is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks, crazing, scratches or repairs. I researched this Doulton mark and it was used from 1928-1973. This piece is dated 11/59(Nov 1959).** From Kovels English Registry MarksMeasures: 5 1/8\" H by 3 3/4\" L from back to knees.
