· Description: Not a reproduction! All original materials. The 9\" doll is holding an umbrella and carries a sack of flour on her back. She is standing on a peice of shingle (I don\'t even want to venture a guess as to what kind). This handmade peice dates from the 1920\'s or earlier. It has been in storage for 50 years or more and was recently rediscovered. The person I am listing this for tells me it belonged to her father when he was a child.As she is quite advanced in age (her daughter is in her late 50\'s so just how advanced I would not care to wager... who asks a lady her age after all??), we gave a conservative estimate as to the era when this doll would have been created. She is quite unique as far as I can tell, based on the multitude of other listings, and very well made. For collectors and purveyors of antiquities she is certainly worth every penny!!
