A long time ago the first owner of this comic taped the spine with clear tape, that tape has turned yellow (see photo), the front cover has a shadow down the right side and the cover in general has darkened, there are no tears on the 3 exposed edges, there are two slim chips at the bottom, the bottom edge is brittle, the single staple is loose from the spine but held by the tape, above and below the tape there are no vertical splits in the spine but 3 or 4 horizontal stress splits and wear at the corners. The back cover has tape down the spine and out onto the cover (see photo), the back cover is dark, there is a 1/2\" split at the middle of the left edge. The contents are light tan, and complete all 52 pages are present, no tears or missing pieces.

These comics were allowned by one boy who collected them in the late 1940’s and early 1950’s. He lived in the same home all his life andkept the comics in stacks in a storage room.Some have sun shadows from being exposed to light across one edge, somedo not. We are trying our best todescribe each one fully in the listing. Comicsare mailed in a plastic sleeve with a backer board; placed inside a hard,cardboard calumet.
