! Up for sale is a rare hand carved fantasy dressing chair in the form of a mythological bird with outstretched wings & feathered tail. This is a incredible piece of quality fantasy furniture, carved by a master craftsman in the last quarter of the 19th c. In Venice Italy. The piece is in Excellent condition overall with some wear & separation to the tooled leather seat ( a new piece of tooled leather for seat will be included in sale), also has older repairs to the scrolled feet, ( they were reglued & doll rods added for strength at some point).

This is a very rare & impressive piece, sure to please the next owner.
