A magnificent miniature harp, of what appears to be amboyna burl wood, and finely-rendered STERLING openwork extensive mount detail....!** Perhaps, the ultimate special GIFT for the harpist, or musical-instrument enthusiast...Appears to be from sometime in the 19th C, perhaps English, or European.Overall height is 4 3/4\". - Impressed markings include: On the curve, above the open-scrollwork - \' .925 \' * 318 AR \' On the inset plate: \' Sacchetti \' (In script) - The hexagonal, ebonized column is a replacement, wish some photos showing the pre-installation state. - The wood does appear to be always-rich-and-elegant amboyna burl, but that is my opinion. A fine and unusual antique miniature for the collector, harpist, or any \'uncategorized\' individual....!!Please feel free to ask any question prior to offerding.
