This is one of many beautiful hand painted plates I will be listing over time from my personal collection of antique, vintage or current day works of art, ranging from French Limoges, Bavarian and other exquisite porcelains and bone chinas. PLEASE READ DESCRIPTIONS CAREFULLY of each individual listing as I am going to be scrupulous in describing every detail, so that you the buyer know exactly what you are purchasing. Most things described are normal occurrences in used hand painted china and with older pieces there may be some expected acceptable wear. Some plates may have a gilded gold rim which can wear over time, as does anything that is gold plated
DESCRIPTION: Wow, this is one amazing huge hand painted antique Limoges France plate which boasts some amazing pink and yellow roses. Size of plate is 13 5/8\" (34.5cm). The plate has a lovely scalloped edge with gold gilding on the edge of the rim. There is very little wear to the gold, not even noticeable, it is 99% all there. There are no scratches to the painted surface, no paint flakes, no chips.The overall condition of the plate is amazing for its age. This beautiful plate is signed on the front by a very talented artist H. H. D\'Olier. The Limoges France green stamp on the back of the plate was used between 1891-1920\'s.
