Amazing Jemco Hand Tooled Leather Purse - Antique/Vintage - Dated 1918 - Turnloc:

Gently used and very well preserved 1918 Jemco hand-tooled leather purse. Made by the J.E. Mergott Company (Jemco) of New York.

Great style. Amazing condition. Almost 100 years old!

Measures approximately 7 1/2\" long, 5 1/2\" wide. Including strap, purse is approximately 12\" long.

Soft, clean leather. No visible marks or scratches on leather. Brown leather is stitched together with a darker brown/almost black toned leather string.

Purse is considered to be in very good to great condition. No broken stitches.

Floral tool design is present on both sides of the purse, with the front design being a bit more ornate.

The silver-toned metal frame features a beautiful patina. Decorative closure accents the piece wonderfully, and the 3/4\" wide strap is attached securely.

\"Turnloc\" brand lock in working condition. Frame closes evenly.

Original green, suede interior is in great shape for age (does show some wear). Includes original mirror!
