Amazing Miller Art Deco Copper Machine Age Floor Lamp Glass Finial Kem Weber

This had to be a very expensive lamp to make originally. It is the only lamp that I\'ve ever seen that is not wired, but its column instead is a solid conduit, with a positive, negative and insulated section (please see pictures). Two wires attach to poles on the base and then the lamp works beautifully. But this is just the beginning. The lamp pole unscrews into five different pieces, so you can make the lamp any length you want, from a table lamp to a tray-less floor lamp. See my pics for two possibilities. This lamp is fully hallmarked on the base and also each of the column pieces are marked Miller in the copper. This lamp not only looks fabulous with its double tiered shade, peach colored white topped glass finial, and graduating column, but is an engineering masterpiece. It measures about 49\" tall. The shade measures about 11\" diameter. The designer of this lamp was long thought of as either Walter Von Nessen orKem Weber, but now may be Leroy Doane.

Condition: Works great in all configurations. No dents or dings but the outside edge of the base has several splits. The copper plate is overall worn, uneven, spotted, and -in some places- missing. the finish is original, I didn\'t try to polish it in any way. Glass finial is terrific.
