Such tiny, tiny pieces in this 1800\'s Pinwheel quilt, with each block measuring just an inch and a half! Thisquilt must have taken many months to complete. The background blocks are a cadet blue & white print, also used for the border. Measuring 72\" X 70\", it has a thincotton batting, a bright red binding (sun faded in spots), and a creamy white back. Angle quilting covers the quilt @ 8 stitches per inch. Hand laundered, we found most of the dark brown fabrics have leached into the white (see photo) with some having fabric damage, and some sun fading just on the binding.
