style=\"text-decoration:none\" height=\"27px\" valign=\"middle\" face=\"arial\" amazing circa 1885 albumen photograph of Maori artifacts, including mummified, tattooed heads.There are relatively few of these in existence; there is another example of this exact photo in The British Museum.
The photograph is slightly larger than 8\" x 6\" and is mounted on its original 11\" x 9.5\" board. The thin board has somewear, as shown (cracks, bits missing), which is actually very common with these large antique mounts, but it did its jobvery well - the photograph is in basically MINT condition.
On the reverse is another 8\" x 6\" albumen photograph of a man standing in the mountains next to a large waterfall,avery nice photo itself.
