Look at this beautiful 19th-century American coin silver ice cream spoon made by around 1860 an unidentified American maker in a roman medallion pattern, similar to the one introduced later by Reed & Barton. This handsome spoon, which has an elegant teardrop-shaped bowl,remains inexcellent vintage conditionand bears decorative capitals MT engraved to the reverse of the handle. A rare piece of silver from the early days of American tableware! Length: 6 7/8in/17.4cm; W: 30g/0.96 troy oz.
