Up for offers is an old pre war AF blue bird toy train passenger set. The engine has been tested and right now its not currently running but it did seem to want to try to run but the wheels are very stiff and are hard to turn. Usually these old motors in particular show swollen wheels and or bad gearing and these should more than likely be replaced. The headlight wire is not attached and the tabs are not folded down that hold the engine shell to the frame but they are there. The engine frame is missing two journal boxes, the motor does turn freely but is very tight to turn. Also there is no forwards and reverse lever on the motor and I think its been messed with over the years. The cars are nice shape and one of the passenger cars is missing a journal box and the baggage car has a dent in the roof. All original paint and I love the color scheme on these bluebird sets. Please see all pics its sold as is where is but with some work you could have a nice set here. This item is up for offers as is where is with no returns or refunds.
