I have done the research on this doll and this is a 2011 Kanani GOTY American Girl Doll of the Year (appearing to be brand new in Box??)

Kanani is an 18 inch cloth and vinyl doll that was Girl of the Year for 2011. She was available for that year only and is retired. She is beautiful.

Again I am not the original owner and did not purchase this doll directly from the American girl store, i purchased it thru an estate sale.

I bought her this way andnever removed herfrom the box.

She has hazel eyes and long loose curls that are still secure in the hairnet. She is wearing her floral print dress with sequins, a faux hibiscus flower in her hair, sandals, and cotton underwear. Her Hawaiian necklace made of pretend kukui nuts.I found it tucked in the clear plastic lining of the original box, but it was not kept in any sealed original bag or anything so I am picturing the necklace around her neck and will secure it during shipping.

The box is in good shape but i would NOT say \"Mint\". Looks tobe a few scratches from storage.
