This beautiful doll is a Navajo girl on a horse dressed in the traditional Navajo skirt and velvet blouse and beaded necklace and earrings. The horse and doll are made of sturdy cloth and stuffed. The horse stands up so it can be displayed on a table.
I bought it in Albuquerque, New Mexico in the 1980\'s. It does not have any signature or markings on it so I do not know the artist.
This doll has been displayed in my Foundation office cabinet behind glass and in a smoke free Environment. I have owned a large native doll collection and this one has been a favorite.
