SHEAFFER PRELUDE BLUE LACQUER GT

This American Sheaffer Prelude, in Marbled Blue Lacquer with gold plated trim, probably dates from the mid/late 1990s. It is in good working condition. The lacquer finish is not chipped but shows the light surface patina to be expectedfrom normal use.

The pen has a smooth medium Sheaffer Two-Tone stainless steel nib with a gold plated mask. There are some minor marks at the end of the right hand tine.
The push-on cap is in good condition, and has a tight fit with the barrel. The gold plated cap band and clip are in very good condition, as is the pearlised jewel. The imprints on the band are crisp.
The acrylic gripping section and the barrel are also in good condition.
This pen is a cartridge filler, with cartridges provided. A converter for use with bottled ink would be available from Sheaffer stockists.
The closed length of the pen is 133mm.
The case is in good condition, as is the instruction leaflet.

This is a good example of an attractive and usable pen.
