THIS LOT IS FOR A RARE AMERICAN VICTORIAN FIGURAL STERLING SILVER FLOWER VASE MADE BY JOHN WENDT AND RETAILED BY BALL BLACK & CO AROUND 1865. IT HAS TWO FANTASTIC FIGURAL DOGS OR GRIFFINS SEATED ON IT\'S BASE. THIS UNUSUAL VASE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH A GREAT PATINA AND AND DETAILS. IT MEASURES 9 1/4\" TALL X 4 3/8\" WIDE AND WEIGHS 15 TROY OUNCES. IT HAS NEVER BEEN MONOGRAMMED. THIS IS A VERY BEAUTIFUL PIECE!
