Vintage AMI ModelB Jukebox (1948) Plays 10” 78 RPM Records

Jukebox has beenrefurbished. It is working and playing, and I have been playing it almost every day and have had no problems. Cabinet is very sturdy withfunctionalcastors.There is some minor chipping of the veneer (sides) near the back (see pics)There is an electrical cover plate on the one side of the cabinet that is covering a hole that was presumable there toaccommodatean exterior volume control. At this time the volume control is on the amplifier located inside the jukebox cabinet. This is where it was originally located. An exterior volume control could be installed for an additional fee. The original lid lock is functional and a key will be included.There is NO CORROSION on ANY of the aluminum trim. All coin equipment is present and working, including a functional coin return lever. However it onlyexceptsquarters at this time. Nickels and dimes are rejected. This was commonly done by operators that only wanted to collect quarters. This can be changed to exceptNickels and dimesfor and additional fee. There is also a free credit button on the back that adds credits without using coins if needed. The 3 rotating color tubes are newer typereplacements and look OK but they are not original from 1948.The tone arm is NOT original. These were upgraded way back when, because the original tone arm was too heavy and shortened the life of the records.The amplifier (BB) has been rebuilt, tubes are used but all checked good in my tube tester.It sounds wonderful. It doesn\'t sound like it\'s playing a 78, it sounds so warm and clear. It\'s amazing to watch it play, because I see the 78 playing but I hear clean clear sound. It\'s hard to look away. This is the best sounding 78 player I have ever heard.I encourage you to come and inspect this jukebox prior to purchase.
