This finely carved antique Anglo/Indian box i think dates from between 1880 and 1900 , the box is made of ebony and has hand carved designs all over of flowers and leaves that is very detailed as seen in the photos, there is a lock but no key , inside the box is lined with another wood and think the box was originally a cigar box but could have a multi-purpose use today , the box measures 6 x 5 x 2.25 inches , there are a couple of thin shrinkage cracks underneath and on the back corners of the box but otherwise in good condition
