This fine quality antique presentation walking stick dates to 1914, the walking stick is made of solid rosewood that has fantastic grain and colour that is better seen in person to appreciate the quality of the wood, the stick is very heavy due to the type of wood has a bulbous top but no ferule on the bottom, there is a largefinely engraved silver collar with Chester Silver hallmarks for 1914 and makers mark FC, there is a presentation engraving that reads \"Presented To Bro D R Evans JP By The Members Of Court Chevy Chase For Services RenderedDuring 20 Years As Trustee of Court\", I think this may be some sort of Masonic order perhaps but not certain, perhaps someone out there will know ,the stick measures 32.5 inches long and in good condition just minor knocks to the silver and general wear and tear to the stick with age
