8476 Miniature Kutani Vase
Description
A late 19th century Meiji period antique Kutani vase. It is a miniature example of straight sided form with bracket shaped feet. The body is hand painted with characters in a waterside setting in traditional style. The interior is painted with a stylised landscape scenic.
The base of the vase carries a character mark in red. Kutani miniatures are scarce items, and not often seen with such detailed is some minor wear to the gilt otherwise the item is in very good order.
