A, Interesting Antique Late C19th Century Victorian or Early c1900\'s Paste Set Locket Pendant With A Picture Of A WW1 Soldier There-In. The Locket Is Probably Made From Pinchbeck or Similar.It\'s A Charming And Characterful Piece Of Antique Jewellery, But, As The Norm, Please Appraise The Images Provided Before Placing A offer.
Condition: Pretty Good For Age And The Materials Used. The Stones Are All White Stone And Probably Paste. There Are No Losses As The Images Provided Show. However, A Few Of The Stones Have Lost Some Of Their Brightness\'. Possibly The Stones Were Once Foiled Backed And Now Exhibit The Characterise Wear As A Consequence Of The Pieces Meritable Age. The Locket Has An Hinge To The Back Of The Pendant, And The Hinge Of Which Remain In Working Order And Closes Securely To. It\'sA Standard And Basic Period Mechanism Of The Late C19th Century / Early C20th.
Including The Bow Shaped Loop Bail, The Locket Pendant Measures Approximately1.4 Inches x 0.9 Inches. A Visual Piece Of Antique Jewellery.
