Damascus, Syria: Islamic metalwork -dating from the first half of the 20th century.
A hand raised and finished brass bowl. The surface is finished with overlaid silver and copper decoration - the decoration applied over a punched and chiseled ground. The decoration incorporates heavily silvered inscriptions - detailed by the additional images above.Overall diameter - 3 5/8\" (92mm), height - 2 5/16\" (59mm).

Condition - Very Good. No dents or repairs. Natural colour and patina
