An Antique Sterling Silver Milk Jug, Chester 1905:

An antique silver milk or cream jug, fully hallmarked in Chester in 1905 with the makers marks J.M.B which is John Millward Banks ( the hallmarks are a bit overpolished but just legible ). Traditional style with a wavy rim, it\'s in fairly good condition with a couple of faults. Small ding on the rim, pic 3, a few small dings or bruises, looks as though the handle has been mended and done quite well, the base slightly out of shape pic 7, and could do with a polish. Width 4.25ins and height 5ins, or 10.75cms x 12.5cms. The weight is 156gms.
