This Antique Victorian Mauchline Ware Fern Ware Pin Cushion has a diameter of approximately 3.5 cm.I believe that it is made of sycamore wood, probably by the W. & A. Smith Co. in Mauchline, Scotland.The Fern designs are transfer prints.These are then varnished over.The Pin Cushion is in great vintage condition, with the only signs of wear worthy of mention being some rubbing to the black edge of the Pin Cushion and some minor fading to the red velvet.I have photographed it fully and the photos form part of the description.
