Some Wonderful new listings starting today (sunday). Fabulous treasures from two country house sales, and plenty of items from recent trips to France and Belgium. At one of the country house sales I attended recently I found that the Lady of the house had a passion for Selfridge London as linens and handkerchiefs were packed away from new with the original Selfridge tags. Certainly from the era of \'Mr Selfridge\' Some I shall list today and over the next few weeks.
This is a delightful antique French satin silk Damask length of fabric With delightful floral garlands, Birds, and charming lovers, \'Lovers in a Garden\' in excellent condition perfect for soft furnishing projects, the measurements are 110 cm by 130 cm.
I would like to point out to all potencial buyers that are not familiar with antique textiles I only deal in antiques therefore all items have had a previous life and so are comensurate with age, which includes aged marks, dust, sometimes damage which I always point out in my discription, I do not launder items of great age and beauty as I believe part of the charm is its antique colour that has formed over time so, I leave that choice of laundering an item to the buyer, better to have a choice than no choice at all.

I only sell antiques, and therefore everything has had a previous life! very little in the antiques world is as new, conditions vary from pristine to excellent to good. So you have to expect these varying degrees of wear, be it in colour, texture, feel, smell and sometimes damage.
