Tombak(?) Islamic metalwork -dating from the 19th century, (possibly earlier).
A hand raised and seamed copper box type vessel of tapering form and incorporating two central collar shaped balusters. The circular base is of crimped or \'castle\' seamed construction, brazed and burnished - see images 7 & 8.
The box is complete with the original press mounting cover to the opening.
The surface has retained the original tinned finish.Overall height - 5 1/4\" (133mm).

Condition - Very Good. No major dents, no repairs. Fine natural colour and patina.
