Ancient Egyptian Hieroglyph Inscribed Beetle Amulet For Sale
An inscribed ancient Egyptianscarab beetle amulet, dating to Egypt'sNew Kingdom, (the 11th - 13th Dynasties) approximately 1550 - 1069B.C.
The insect carved from a small piece of steatite and depicted with legs, head, antennae and ovalbody. The base inscribed with three hieroglyphs.
Pierced longitudinally for attachment to a necklace or collar in antiquity.
Length:14 mm.
Condition: Very good, unrestored.
