A beautiful ancient GreekApulian netLekythos, dating to approximately 350 B.C.
The bottle withdisc base, spherical body, slim, elegant neck and collared rim,a small loop handle arches from the neck to the shoulder of the piece. Decorated with black netpattern, highlighted with white dots on ared slip.
Pieces such as this were used for storing perfumes and othe valuable cosmetics in antiquity.
