Forged by hand using 1095 high carbon steel, with over 400 layers of material, this full tang blade was hammered into a Roman Spatha. The tang is peened to the pommel, fixing the custom Apricot and camel bone grips to the sword very tight-like tiger. The wide blade profile narrows down at the the tip, which provides both piercing and chopping power in a small profile. Ultimately, a good blade always starts with excellent steel quality, such as this 1095 high carbon with a carbon content of 0.95%. This Roman sword comes with a leather sheath that is very unique with brown and black leather stitched into the design. Can hang from a belt and also features a securing strap with metal snap.
