This beautiful graduated strand of ancient glass Trade Wind beads are quite rare due to their very large size, as it is very difficult to find stands of blue and black Trade wind Beads in this size. This strand consists of blue and black colored beads and one translucent green bead. They were produced in India and throughout SE Asia from 250 BC to 1200 AD. They followed the Chinese silk trade routes and were traded into East Java before 600 AD where they were buried. They were found in East Java.
