An ancient to the Near Eastern Iron age I period,approximately 1200 - 1000 B.C.
The bronze mace head is of typical Luristan form, with short cylindrical ridged socket and bulbous body, withbands of deeply recessed and curved projections.
Possibly a status weaponor a ceremonial piece.

Condition:Good condition, unrestored, with age related encrustations.
